About Agnieszka

Agnieszka Dobrzycka – painter and draftswoman – combines classical craftsmanship with attentiveness to the stories of the people for whom she creates. Her works are mainly commissioned and can be found in private collections in the United States, Poland, throughout Europe, and also adorn commercial spaces, including a restaurant in the center of Rome. Since 2005, she has lived in England (Birmingham), where she continues her artistic practice – she also creates for friends and shares her passion with the local community.

Education and Exhibitions. UWM Olsztyn (Artistic Education, Master of Arts); PLSP Łomża (graphic techniques). Exhibitions: Galeria N (Łomża); UWM Gallery (Olsztyn); UWM drawing exhibitions (Radom).

Language and Themes. Light, rhythm of the brushstroke, discipline of drawing. In portraits – character and attentive connection; in landscapes – breath and space; in still lifes – clear construction and color relationships. Her works are distinguished by control over color gradient and conscious manipulation of texture.
